Lenox makes beautiful dishes
The Lenox Winter Greetings pattern is nothing short of breathtaking. I love mine, and the workmanship is exceptional. That said, there are a couple of things to remember. These dishes need to be hand washed. More importantly, while the placesettings are fairly reasonable here on Amazon, the supplemental pieces are pricey and very difficult to find. I would strongly recommend that one consider the specific extra pieces that would be desired and look for and price them prior to purchasing the basics. Places to look for them besides Amazon would be Ebay, the Lenox website, and replacement.com. You may also have to check Froogle to locate other internet sites.

Great price for a wonderful item!
Beautiful line at a decent price! My mother has been dreaming of owning this collection for years. We purchased this place setting for her for Christmas and will be buying others from this line for future gift giving events. I shopped around a lot online for the Lenox Winter Greetings andfound that Amazon has the best price when shipping is taken into consideration.

Dinnerware
More gorgeous than in the pictures. Can't wait to use them this holiday season. Are very heavy, and the colors are vibrant. Love that I can use them for any occasion, not just Christmas. So beautiful.

Lenox Holiday 5-Piece Gold-Banded Fine China Place Setting, Service for 1

Classic Holiday China, an Heirloom Set
Like fine china from times gone by this is a wonderful set. Whether you start with a few pieces and add on every year or start with a full setting it is a great holiday tradition. We use ours for all our special meals from Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. Lenox has added some wonderful service pieces over the last few years as well. One of my favorites is a two bowl set with seal tight lids. The bowls are refrig, dishwaher, oven and microwave safe. The lids when on will not spill a drop and look lovely on the table. (They do lack the gold trim of the other pieces so they can be more go in the microwave, etc). Another plus is that most every department store carries it so it is easy to find and is always on sale before and after the holidays. You can spice it up with the plaid accent plates or the scenic dessert plate set - all are beautiful. I hope you enjoy them as much as we have.

Great Dishes, Great Condition, Fast Shipping!
Great Dishes at amazing price, shipping was very fast and they all came in perfect condition. I purchased these as a wedding gift, 4 place settings total. They were $20 less each than the department store the bride had registered at so by saving $80 I was able to purchase a fourth place setting for the same price I would have paid for 3. Amazon is great, always trustworthy and the shipping was super crazy fast. Thanks!

lenox holiday china
I am so thrilled with this purchase that I still have a place setting out to look at! The price was fantastic and the delivery excellent. Amazon came through again! I am now hoping to buy other pieces.

The Best
This set is the best. The pattern is beautiful--subtly lovely. An interesting design that you won't get sick of, and that you could mix with other things if you already have some platinum pieces. Plus the porcelain feels sturdy in your hands; you won't be afraid to use it.

Lenox Hancock Fine China 5-Piece Place Setting, Service for 1

Lenox Hancock China
This 5 piece place setting of Lenox's Hancock china was advertised as Used/like new condition. It was actually brand NEW with tags and each piece in it's own sleeve. Like getting an early Christmas present!!! Beautiful...I immediately removed the tags, washed each piece and placed them with my set of Lenox in the china closet...$25.25 (usually $129 elsewhere) including my free Prime shipping. So happy to find this deal. Thanks, Amazon!!! P.S. got any more? I now have service for 9!!!

Very Pleased
My order arrived on the estimated delivery date. All of the pieces were in excellent condition, and I received what I ordered. I was very pleased.

Elegant simplicity
This beautiful china enhances any table. It is very well made, flawless china. The design is simple enough to match any decor yet as elegant as the most elaborate china. I've owned this china for years, using it regularly to entertain and it still looks like new! Lenox makes a great product at an affordable price.

Lenox Federal Platinum Bone China 5-Piece Place Setting, Service for 1

lenox federal platinum as a gift
Ever since my son got married I have given his wife a set of their china for each holiday. I was buying through the Lenox website and was satisfied with the product but by the time I finished paying for the product, shipping/handling AND taxes (we have a Lenox outlet in Utah) it was very expensive.

I was thrilled to see that I could order this product through Amazon. I qualified for free shipping and there were no taxes involved AND the price was less than through Lenox itself. My order was delivered quickly and in great shape.

I plan on ordering this product ONLY through Amazon from now on.

Lenox Fine China
I have owned my Lenox for 34 years and I love to use them. The set I bought is for my daughter. She selected Federal Platinum because of it's timeless beauty. She has not used them yet, but is very happy with her pattern.

Beats everyone else's price!
This was a bridal shower gift. Being very familiar with Lenox I knew it would be beautiful and great quality. What I didn't expect was to buy the 5 pc. pl. setting for $30.00 less than Bed Bath & Beyond. And it
arrived in 3 days! It's great to shop on Amazon!

Absolutely Gorgeous but packaging so so
I have wanted this pattern for a really long time but they are pretty expensive so I have put it off. I finally decided to just take the plunge and start buying it a place setting at a time. The prices at Amazon are great and they let you know when they have dropped in price. The sets are everything I hoped for. Only problem is that I have had two shipments arrive with broken saucers. In the big picture this is not a huge problem as Amazon replaced them immediately and returns were a piece of cake, but as it happened more than once I would think there must be a better way to package the sets. Still extremely happy with my purchases, they are more beautiful than I hoped and are worth every penny.

Beautiful as Ever
I need to add to my china collection and Amazon had exactly what I wanted at a great price. I am happy to know I can turn to Amazon to add to my china service in the future.

A classic
Timeless beauty, elegance. Sets the most beautiful table. The many detailed colors make endless linen choices possible. Absolutely worth hand-washing, and I don't often say that!

How can you go wrong?
I see another review that these are cheap plates, but I don't believe that to be true at all. However, I do treat my fine china with care and have not had a problem with any chipping or flaking.

I have had this pattern since the early 1990s. It simply stands the test of time and is a classic. Trends in china come and go and this pattern will not.

You just can't go wrong with Lenox and this pattern. I am planning to buy more and am happy to see it's still around!

Lenox--American Excellence!
We just purchased two more place settings of Lenox "Eternal" china. We've had this as our "wedding china" for over 40 years and have finally broken or chipped a couple of cups. Since we have larger groups for dinner, it seemed like a good idea to just have a couple extra plates and saucers, too.

Really excellent, timeless china. We've never been sorry with our choice--and it is the basic pattern for the traditional Lenox Christmas china which we mix and match at the holidays!

No doubt the best American product--and I think (!) it's made in the U.S.A.!

FINE DINING WITH FINE CHINA
SIMPLE, SOFT AND ELEGANT, THE PERFECT BACKGROUND FOR YOUR FEAST AND ALL ITS COURSES NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF YEAR, NEVER TRYING TO STEAL THE SHOW...JUST COMPLEMENT IT. NOT TOO FORMAL BUT FORMAL, NOT TOO CASUAL BUT CASUAL, NEVER TIRING IN IT'S SIMPLICITY OF SERVICE!

Not your Grandmother's Lenox...
I recommend caution when purchasing new china from Lenox. Their quality control standards are NOT what they used to be, while the prices have continued to climb. "First quality" items tend to have many of the problems of seconds--pitting in the glaze, uneven gold or platinum banding, discolored banding, etc.

The so-called "lifetime replacement guarantee" from Lenox is virtually worthless: you must pay to ship the item to Lenox, and pay Lenox 50% of the full MSRP...and they do not guarantee that they will have the item you need. Lenox discontinues patterns at a very great rate (5-10 patterns per year, sometimes more), so the chances are slim that you will be able to replace or add to your set down the road. The only patterns with longevity are this one (Eternal--introduced in 1965), the sister pattern in platinum (Solitaire--also 1965), Autumn (which was introduced over 80 years ago, but has changed in shape and design detail/quality), and Westchester.

If you really want...

i love it
Timeless simple and beautiful. I have a complete set for 8. I don't use them that often but love when I do.

A wonderful collection of china
I recently purchased this set and I am in love with it. I can't wait to used this in a formal setting. The eternal china is truly a beautiful pattern. I was even more convinced when I saw this amazing deal on Amazon[.com] for the free bowls with the set. The pictures really don't show the true beauty of this set. You won't regret getting this pattern.

Fiesta 5-Piece Place Setting, White

Great dinnerware!
As other rewiewers have stated, this is great dinnerware. We've had Fiestaware for over 13 years and still love it. The kids have broken a few of our pieces so we are trying to rebuild our collection.

too small
I was so excited to get these, but when it arrived, the bowls are small and the coffee cups are the size of esspresso cups. Very disappointed. Now I need to go and buy separate coffee cup sets. I won't buy from them again.

Wonderful dishes!
I have always loved Fiestaware dishes, but have not purchased them. When my old set of dishes showed too much wear I saw these on Amazon and since I wanted a set of white dishes AND wanted them to be made in the US I made the decision to buy them. They are great for everyday meals and good-looking for company as well. I chose this set as the cups are easier for my elderly mother to handle without being awkward. All in all I am delighted with my purchase.
