The Original Pitcher
Too bad that these pitchers never last as long as the brewer does! They eventually crack from the heat and if you use them as often as my wife does, that does not take long at all. For a while there my wife just bought a new brewer when she needed a new pitcher because the cost of a pitcher along with shipping, it was just a couple of dollars difference to just buy a whole new thing. But this time we just ordered several pitchers and got a break on shipping. The pitchers we ordered here are in original Mr Coffee boxes and are brand new. We have yet to wear a brewer out so we'll see how many pitchers we go through before a brewer bites the dust!

you can't go wrong with this puppy; unless you put it in the dishwasher and cram the lid into it. then you get to listen to it make crazy noises as the plastic splinters and cracks. note to self: don't put it in the dishwasher
Replacement Mr Coffee 2qt tea pitcher
This pitcher is not only a better unit than the original (the handle is thicker) but this one came with the original style steeping basket. This steeping basket allows the hot water to remain in contact with the tea bags longer because there is no "weep hole in the bottom of the basket. To prevent burns from lifting a basket of hot tea, you can empty the basket via a small "lever" on the side before discarding the used tea bags. Since the original 2qt tea brewer is the best unit that Mr Coffee has made, I recommend you pick up a spare pitcher or two while they are still available!
