Discontinued?!?
I have had one of these grills for several years. I love it. It is the most used small appliance in my home. I am so sorry that Rival has not only chosen to discontinue it, but now they don't even sell replacement parts for it. If you can find one, get it. You won't be sorry.
I Miss This Grill
I had one of these grills in college 20 years ago. I just tried to find one, because I have had every other indoor grill since then and still nothing compares. It is too bad that Rival have stopped making the grills, but I know several people who nearly set their homes on fire using these grills. Oh well. I never had a problem with one. We should make our own version and package them for sales/distribution. What do you need to make this? Heating element, grill plate, aluminum tray, ceramic base, heating element placeholder and insurance?

I love my Rival grill! I found one years ago, now I own three! I grill all the time, and this grill is awesome! I recommend it to everyone.
