expensive and slow delivery
Product received from one of Amazon re-salers is in good condition but they charged me FedEx delivery fee of $10 for $18 product and delivered 10 days later. Other product purchased same day were delivered in 2 days and didn't cost as fraction in the delivery charges.
I would suggest to Amazon to be very detailed in showing delivery charges when products purchased together are coming from different re-salers and therefore charge multiple delivery fees.
I am upset with Amazon failing to do that before I placed my order.
Beware of photo and attempting to email; call instead
Happy to have a replacement carafe for this Braun coffee pot; however, production no longer makes a matching carafe for the white model. The photo pictured here is of the ORIGINAL carafe that came with the coffee pot, NOT the one that is currently being produced and shipped. The current handle (as another user below writes) is nearly black (a very dark charcoal grey), which does not match the very light grey on the rest of the coffee pot (filter basket & control pad). Using the Amazon email feature only got me the same response, twice (even though I sent clear photos of the original pot w/ original carafe from another website, and photos of what actually arrived); it is as if I was emailing a robot who could only say: you got what we stock. I don't doubt that, but I wanted to draw this person's attention (Alex Hanson is the name on the responses) to the fact that what is pictured here is NOT what is being sent. When I found the phone number and called, I spoke to a nice person named...
Best Coffee Maker Ever
We have had the Braun ArmaDeluxe now since 2002 and still running strong. Many times, we have had the thoughts of getting something fancier. Nah, we stuck with this one and are so glad.
The Pot cracked a couple of times, but the best part is the replacement is still available. This makes us committed to Braun for a lifetime. Keep up the good work and keep those replacement parts stocked!
