Nice, functional and affordable. What else can one wish for?
This is a nice, affordable way to keep wines/champagne cold, particularly in hot weathers. To be noted is that THE WINE NEEDS TO BE CHILLED AND THE SLEEVE NEEDS TO BE FROZEN BEFORE USE or else the results will not be satisfactory. I bought the wine sleeve first, and was so satisfied that I went back for the champagne one. It also makes an excellent gift.
Underappreciated until "borrowed"!
To the point: I didn't appreciate how great this "chiller" was until mine was "borrowed" and never returned. Yes, it will chill wine from room temperature if you insist and are patient but why not just put the wine in the fridge for a short time? Instead the beauty of this lies as a means of keeping your wine with you on the table, deck or wherever after it has already been chilled and the first glass poured. MUCH preferable to a big champagne ice bucket and great to take along in the cooler for picnics. Along with a good champagne stopper something I hope to never be caught without again...
Keep your cool
I use this for my wine bottles, not champagne, during warm evenings on the back deck. Keeps wine cool for more than an hour
